Reporting a medical case to SOS International
Contact SOS International immediately if an individual covered by a private insurance policy handled by SOS International applies for medical assistance during a trip.
Report the case via the SOS International Supplier Portal.
A list of insurance companies handled by SOS International is available in the Supplier Portal for registered users.

By reporting cases to us using our Supplier Portal while remembering to provide us with a medical report as soon as possible, you ensure that SOS International has all necessary information to issue a Guarantee of Payment for your services as quickly as possible.
Medical reports should as a minimum contain the following information:
Registered users can communicate directly with our 24-hour alarm centre easily and conveniently using the Supplier Portal, other suppliers will be contacted on the email address provided when registering a new case. You will then be provided with a unique case reference number which should be quoted in any subsequent communication with us.
When necessary, the attending physician may be contacted by one of SOS International’s Medical Consultants, to ensure that the patient’s treatment is covered by the patient’s insurance.
When you make a request for payment from your insurance company, you are obligated to provide your insurance company with all available and relevant information.
SOS International acts on behalf of your insurance company, and you are therefore obligated to provide SOS International with all information of importance for the assessment of your case and determining the indemnity.
