Duty of Care
Duty of Care — or omsorgspligt in Danish — describes an employer’s legal, ethical, or moral responsibility and obligation to safeguard the safety and well-being, both physical and mental, of their employees and their family members when they are working for the company, for example when posted abroad or on business trips.
At SOS International, we help employers protect their employees immediately and anywhere in the world — every day, 24/7, all year round.
We provide support in cases such as:
- Isolated local incidents, e.g. a hotel fire
- Outbreaks of major conflicts, e.g. political unrest or terrorist attacks
- Natural disasters and catastrophes, e.g. earthquakes
- Evacuations, both medical and security-related
